Sadness

I have sadness in my heart today. As many of you know I am honored to be the designer/seamstress for the NBA Hornet's dance team the Honeybees. I learned this afternoon of the tragic passing of one of the dance team members, Brittanie. She was so bright and beautiful and just 19. My heart goes out to her family and the Honeybee team members as well as all of those that were honored to have known Brittanie. You can read more about Brittanie at http://www.hornets.com/. Here is a pic of all the guys with the tree. Brock our youngest son, in the red jacket actually cut down the tree. He is getting too big he is 7 now! Sorry for the picture quality, my digital camera take awful outdoor pictures.

Christmas Tree Farm

We finally went to get our Christmas tree. We go to a little country tree farm around the corner from our house. Garrett picked out the tree this year. We love this tradition. I was very disapointed this year as Danae' (our daughter) made the decision to stay home. Not quite the same without her. I will upload a photo of the tree once it is up and decorated.
